Frequently Asked Questions

  • Quality and consistency at a stable price! Since we grow and harvest our own corn + hay, we are less susceptible to the drastic market changes. That allows us to keep our pricing at an affordable, consistent rate while always offering the same quality.

  • Our steers are fed grass + corn daily, from start to finish, to produce beautiful marbling with amazing flavor!

  • We do not use any growth hormones. If a steer happens to need antibiotics, we will treat them but they held back from processing until the antibiotics are out of their system. Just like humans, sometimes animals do need to be treated to prevent suffering & save their life, but it is only on a case by case basis. We choose not to put an animal down if a single treatment could save their life.

Also, our butcher is USDA inspected so that means they take samples to ensure that the steers do not contain traces of antibiotics.

  • We raise mostly Holsteins, and Shorthorn crosses, that we buy as bottle babies from a couple different local farms.

  • We typically book out at least 2-3 months in advance, so the sooner the better!
